The publication of the Holy Quran has been our family’s sacred calling since the 1940s. The house was originally established in Kashmiri Bazar, Lahore, before Partition, under the name of Sheikh Zafar Muhammad & Sons.

In the 1990s, the business was carried forward by the next generation as Alif Zafar Sons, establishing our central wholesale distribution in Urdu Bazaar, Lahore. Today, Alif Zafar Sons is proud to be in its fourth generation, serving both nationwide trade partners and direct readers across Pakistan.

In-House Printing & Binding

Every Quran Majeed bearing our imprint is printed and bound in-house under strict quality control. From clear, time-tested sixteen-line scripts and color-coded Tajweedi editions to gilt-edge, premium rexine, velvet, and zip bindings, controlling our own production ensures that our editions remain continuously in print and maintain the highest standards of paper and binding durability.

Serving Retailers and Readers Nationwide

For decades, the majority of our publications have reached readers through independent bookshops and institutions across Punjab, KPK, and throughout the country.
